Mr. MacManus is a versatile attorney specializing in a wide array of civil practice areas. He has extensive litigation experience in the areas of business, corporations, partnerships, contracts, franchise, real estate, unfair competition, false advertising, trademarks, copyright, patent, trade secret, employment, and personal injury law. Further, Mr. MacManus has prosecuted numerous trademark and copyright applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO").

As a bilingual attorney, Mr. MacManus can offer a broad range of legal services in both English and Spanish to local and international businesses. His bilingual skills give him the language tools necessary to assist domestic companies seeking to do business with companies based in Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, and vice versa.

Prior to law school, Mr. MacManus attended Stanford University, where he received a B.A. in English with a minor in Communications. His studies abroad in Barcelona, Spain provided him with a broader perspective and deep appreciation of world cultures.

The writing and analytical skills which Mr. MacManus honed while at Stanford proved to be fruitful in law school, where he graduated with honors Cum Laude in the top 20% of his class in May of 2007. He received CALI Awards for highest marks in Patent Prosecution, Bankruptcy, and Legal Policy Seminar. While in law school, Mr. MacManus was a senior member of the Law Journal Honors Society, a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and he served as a co-editor of the school's Sports & Entertainment Law Society. In addition, he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property for his completion of requisite courses in Copyright Law, Trademarks & Unfair Competition, and Patent Law, among others.

In August of 2009, Mr. MacManus attended a Trial School administered by American Board of Trial Advocates ("ABOTA"), where he gained valuable insight and in-depth training on the jury trial experience.

Mr. MacManus is also fully certified as a mediator.

Mr. MacManus was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 29, 2007.
